ACCEPTING THE IMPOSITION OF ADDITIONAL HIGHWAY USERS TAXES
AN FEES PIS'ISt= TO lIAPTER 1352 STATUTES OF 1963.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows:
SECTION I. To comply with the provisions of Section 1.C.2 of the Collier-Unruh Local
kransportateon Development Act (Streets and Highways (13 Section 186.12 the City of Alaboda
hereby adopts a resolution approving the imposition of additional highway users taxes and Fees
(U'3 3'I-! to said Acts
SECTION 2. The City desires apportionments to 1 made to it in accordance wire provisions
of said Section of the Act and is aware of the necessity of conforming Ea the matching requirements
prescribed bg Section 14 of said Act (Streets and Highways Code Ser:tion 186.5).
SECTION 3. Ail monies reneived by the City from the State under the provisions of Sec-
tion 10.2 of said Act shall. be paid into the Special Gas Tax ., treet. Improvement Tend and expended
exclusively for acquisition of rights-of-way for and 3315, (3.131033 of routes on the select system
of city strpots established as provided in Section 12 of said det (Streets and Highways Code Sec-
tion 186.3).
SECTION 4. Le compliance with said Act the City Clerk is directed to send lour (4)
properly certified copies of this resolution to the Department of Public Works at Sacramebto,
California,
