ADOPTING REVISED BUDC;ET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED
FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES.
WHEREAS, a master agreement has heretofore been executed by the City of Alameda, herein-
after referred to as the City, and the State Department of Public Works, Division of Highways,
hereinafter referred to as the Department, on March 2, 1961, for expenditure of State allocated
funds; and
WHEREAS, on jut}, 16, 1963, by Resolution No. 6501, a budget therefor was adopted by the
City in accordance with a project statement of said expenditures; and
WHEREAS, a supplemental project statement is now required in order to budget an additional
amount of five-eighths (5/8.0 cents ($35,000) of said funds as he City's portion for rhe construc-
tion of Eighth Street from WestlIne Drive to Portola Avenue, and to delete an equal amount
($35,000) of said funds as the City's portion for the construction of Atlantic Avenue from Main
Street to Webster Street; and
WHEREAS, such supplemental project statement has been prepared showing the estimated
expenditures of such funds recommended to be made during the fiscal year 1963-1964; and
WHEREAS, a revised budget has beer presented to the City Council in accordance with the
project statement submitted by the City, and the City Council is familiar with the contents of
said budget;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said budget he,
and is hereby, adopted as the budget of expenditures recommended to be made from such funds during
the fiscal year 1963-1964.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of March, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:

ABSENT: President Godfrey, (1).
