Resolution 06591CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6591 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR URECKINO AND REMOVAL OF ARMORY BUIT„DINC LOCATED IN WASHINOTON PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for the wrecking and removal of the Armory Building located in Washington Park. numbered PI,/ 4-64-10 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 7, 1964; )0- THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cnuNcil OF TH6 01 '9 OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci- fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a. m. on FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 1964, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, manhinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord- ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Pall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Wreck- ing and Removal of Armory Building Located in Washington Park", or similar designation, Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions. 1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of April, 1964, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
