ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR:ENDING JUNE 30, 1965, GASOLINE, TRAFFIC
PAINT AND THINNER, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing:
Item 1: Non-Premium Gasoline;
Item 2: Premium Gasoline
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, No. MS 5-64-3, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing:
Traffic Paint and Thinner
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, No. MS 5-64-2, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 1000 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 29, 1964, for the furnishing to the City of each and
all of the above enumerated supplies, in accordance with the individual Specifications and Provisions
therefor. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under
sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside with the designation of the supplies to which said
bid applies. Bids may cover one item or a combination of items and the Council reserves the right
to let the contract for any of said supplies to one bidder or several individual bidders.
Contract', if awarded, will he awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best btd. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisinns.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of May, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman, (1).
