Resolution 06672399 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6672 DECLARING PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR USE BY BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY AS VEHICULAR STORAGE AREA. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby finds and determines that the public interest and necessity require the acquisition by the City of Alameda of that certain real property hereinbelow described, for use by the Bureau of Electricity of said City as an area for the storage and parking of vehicles owned or used by said Bureau in the course of its authorized activity of supplying electric current to users thereof within the said City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property is described as follows: REAL PROPERTY in the City of Alameda. County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the northwestern line of Everett Street, distant thereon northeasterly 201 feet, 3 inches, from the intersection thereof with the northeastern line of Central Avenue, as the said avenue existed prior to the widening thereof; running thence northeasterly along said line of Everett Street 48 feet, 8 inches, to the southwestern boundary line of the land described in the deed executed by Leslie E. Miller to Tucker Investment Company, a corpora- tion, dated September 19, 1913, recorded in Book 2217 of Deeds, page 49, Alameda County Records; thence northwesterly parallel with the southwestern line of Santa Clara Avenue 121 feet; thence southwesterly parallel with the southeastern line of Park Avenue, formerly Pine Street, 48 feet, 8 inches; and thence south- easterly parallel'with the southwestern line of Santa Clara Avenue 121 feet, 4 inches, to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there exists a public necessity for said acquisition and public improvement; said property is necessary therefor; and the said property proposed to be acquired is located in the manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public good and the least private injury. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he hereby is, authorized to commence proceedings in eminent domain in the appropriate forum for acquisition of said real property. * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of August, 1964, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr..
