WHEREAS!, the City Engineer has prepared SpecifKcations, Special Provisions and Plans for
the construction of a storm seKer in Waluut Street from. Lincoln. Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue, numbered
PW 8-64-24 and filed IR the office of thc City Clerk on October. 6, 1964;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and tlle same are
hersby approved and adopted.

RESOLVED, FURTAEP, that the. Council KJ: tho CiLy of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11.00 o'clKuk a.m. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16, 1964, for furnishing to the City of ail labor,
materiain, machinsKy, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with sa:d Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented tO the City. Clerk, in 49, City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for the
Construction of a Storm Sewer in Walnut Street from Lincoln Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue, No, PW
K-66-24K, Or sKmilar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the Clty
or Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submiucs the lowest and best bid. The 4: is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications aud Provisions may be had by any prospective bldder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office the KKK • Hall, Alameda, Calornia.
The City Clerk is hereby 43 149 to advertise, in the Alameda TImes-SLar, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of KKid Specifications
