ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
ONE, NEW, LATEST MODEL, AUTOMOTIVE ENGINE TESTER, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME,
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, latest model, automotive engine tester, No MS
4-65-7, filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 6, 1965, be, and the same are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 1100 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 1965, for furnishing to the City of said engine
tester, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Automotive Engine Tester", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of April, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
