AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOP CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF EAFROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PROPERTY
DTVLSION MAP NO. 134—PROPERTY AT THE WEST END OF PALACE
COGRT AND THE NORTH END or HOOVER COURT (JOHN P. JEPSEN
AND EDITH M. JEPSEN), AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE
CASH BOND AS TC SUFFICIENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant. to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been pre-
sented to this Council a Property Division Map, designated Property Division 'lap No. 134, and here-
tofore conditionally approved by the Planning Board, being a division of property at the west end
cf Palace Court and the north end of Hoover Court, in the City of Alameda, by Jahn P. Jepsen. and
Edith K. Jepsen; and
WHEREAS, said approval. by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by sub-
divider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements nn said prcperty; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted a cash bond guar-
anteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW THEREFCRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division nf property at the west end nt
Palace Court and the north end of Hoover Court, designated as Property Division Map No. 134, by
John P. Jepsen and Edith M. Jepsen, be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is
authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the
Ci ty; and
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cash bond in the amount of $1,590.77, guaranteeing full
and faithful performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.
