Resolution 06835CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6835 DECLARING NO FURTHER NEED FOR CITIZENS COMMITTEE ON CHARTER REVISION TO FUNCTION, AND ORDERING DISSOLUTION THEREOF. WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution Nos. 6381 and 6613, adopted June 26, 1962, and May 5, 1964, there was created within the City of Alameda a committee designated as the °Citizens' Committee on Charter Revision,' having the powers and duties prescribed in said resolutions; and WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined that no further need exists for said Committee to function and that it accordingly should be dissolved; NOW THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that, pursuant to Sec- tion 3 of said Resolutions, the said Citizens' Committee on Charter Revision is hereby ordered dissolved, and the members thereof dismissed; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Alameda and this Council hereby express thanks to the members of said Committee for their time and effort devoted to the performance of the difficult duties involved In said Committee's function. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of August, 1965, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and 'President Godfrey, (5).
