AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES OF A
CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT FOR THE FL' ?8AR 1966-1967;
WHEREAS, Section 3-7(c) of the Charter of the City of Alameda requires the designation of
a certified public accountant to investigate and audit accounts of th e City, etc.; and
WHEREAS, a proposed contract for the fiscal year 1966-1967 with the firm of Hackleman,
Larzelere 6 McKenna, Certified Public Accountants, has been submitted to the Council and the Council
is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof, said contract being filed with the
City Clerk and marked "Filed June 8, 1961Y;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of the
City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and en behalf of the City of
Alameda that certain contract referred to above by and between the City and the firm of Hackieman.
Larzelere & McKenna for certified public accounting services for the fiscal year 1966-1967. The
City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the Clty of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
8th day of June, 1966, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, dose and President Godfrey, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
