HEREAS, Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans have been prepared far the construc-
tion of a fire station, including all site work and appurtenances thereto, at Park Street and
'1'' n' Avenue, nmancered FW 8-67-27 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on September 5, 1967;
NOW 141 14, 02 IT RESOLVER BY THE OCENCIL OF IRE CITY 08' 232 14 that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plana, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same ,o hereby authorised,

IT FURITELR RESOLVED that the Connoial of the City of Alameda will. receimd sealed bids
up 140 1431 hour of 11:00 olciock a.m., on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1969, for furnishing to the City of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary fcr the work hereinabcme referred to,
14 accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City' Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, unddr sealdd cover and plainly marked on. the outside, "Pro-
posal for the Construction of a Fire Station, Including all Site Wbrk and Appurtenances thereto,
at Park. Street and Encinal Avenue", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City- of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bide.
SaEd Plans, Specificatidns and Speciat. Provisions may be had. by prospective bidders on
applioation to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City' Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times—Star, a notice uall-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
