PAVEHEHT REPAIRS ON SHORE LINE DRIVE WEST OF WILLOW STREET,
CALLING FOR BIDS END DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAYE.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
parnment repairs' on Shore Line Drive west of Willow Street, No. PW 9-67-50, and filed La the office
of the City Clerk on September 1,1)0'
NOW 1BE0' GORE, BE IT RESOLEED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE 011le OP ATAKEDE that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the werk specified. in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda tail], receive sealed bids
hp to the hour of 11;00 o,clock a.m., on FRIDAY., SEPTEMBER. 22, 1967, for furnishing to the City- of
all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment, necessary for the work hereinabove referred to,
in accordance bdth said Specifications ard Provislthe. Bids mast be presented. to the City Clerk,
in the City hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Pro-
posal for Pavement Repairs 1' Shore Line Drive West of Willow Street', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder 110 soramdts the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said. Specifications and Provons may he had by amy prospective bidder on application to
the C011 Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5th aay of September, 1967, by the follpwing vote, to wit:
Councilmen Bartley, Fore, La Croix, Jr., Levy and President McCall, (5).
