RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS.
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of August, 1967, the City Council of the City of Alameda, Alameda
County, California, adopted its resolution fixing time and place for hearing on the Engineerls Report
in Assessment District No. P7-1, City of Alameda, Alameda County, California; and.
WHEREAS, said resolution fixed. the 19th c4y 51 September, 1967, at the hour of 7:30 P.M.
of said day at the meeting place of the City Council. of the City of Alameda, located in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, as the time ard place for hearing protests with relation to the proposed
construction of Huorovements described. in the Engineeris Report, the grades to which the work will
be done, the extent of the assessment district, the assessment or the Engineeris Eetimate of Cost
and expenses, or any other act, or determination of the City' Engineer of the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of September, 1967, the City Council of the City of Alameda con-
tinued the hearing on said matter to the 3rd day of October, 1967; and
WHEREAS, certain owners of property' liable to be assessed for said wort and improvements
made written protests or objections in writing and delivered the same to the City Clerk not later
than the hour set for hearing such objections; and
WHEREAS, at the time set for hearing the protests and objectiens, said City Council. of the
City' of Alameda 20) o44 to hear the same, and all of the protests or objections of every kind
and nature having been heard and duly considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, IA LS HEREBY SCI by the City Council of the City of Alameda, Alameda
County., California, that all of said protests anA objections of every hind or nature bo, and. the
same are hereby, overruled or denied; and
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that the City' Council finds that said protests and objections
are made by the owners of less than one—half of the area, of the property to be assessed for said
improvements.
