10 NAKE PATYMEETS UNDER. SAID AGREEMENT TO SAID ASSIANIAL
WHEEAS, on July 20, 19E7, pursuant to Resolution n. 7178, the City of Alameda and Herbert N.
Watson, transactdng business unaer the firm name and style of Watson Gormunication Engineering,
entered. into a written contract for the maintenance of certain radio cormunication equipment owned
by the Cityls Police, Fine and Street Departments; and.
WHEREAS, on or about August 15, 1967, Delta industrial Cammunicatiens and. Engineering of
Richmond, a. California corporation, purchased all of the assets, rights and ilabilities of said
WEtson Cuamunication Engineering, including transfer and assignment o' said contract between the
City and Watson; and
WHEREAS, said Delta du able and willing to perform said. cortraot according 03 0 he terao and
conditions thereof, and has requested City approval of said assignment, and it appears in the best
o,-b, ir interest that. Delta assume performance thereunder;
NOW IHEREEORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Oh' THE CellY OE AIAMEDA. that the assignment to
Delta Industrial Corounications and Engineering of Richmond, a California corporation, of that
certain radio cormunivation oqndpment or' '00010 agreement, heretofore on. July '0, 196F, entered
into between the City of Alameda and Herbert fL Watson, transacting business under tho style of
WEtson Communication Engineerieg, be approved, and said Delta shall henceforth undertake the rights
and oblbgatitre urder said agreement according to its terms in the same manner as though it were
the original party thereto;
BE IT FURTHER RESONVED that, the Auditor be and hereby ia authorized and directed to make
any payments due or to bocomo duo by the City under said agreement, to the order of said Delta
industrial Coraunications and Engineering of RichmEnd, in lieu and instead of to said ornal
