TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City- Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special, Provisiens and Plano for
the INSIALLATION OT' HOUSE LATERALS from the street laterals to the property- line, and other work
appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending june 30, 1970, =bared PW 5-69ell and filed with
the Cit Clerk on May 6, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the City- Engineer has prepared B,ecifisations, Special Provisions and Plans for
REPAIR, OF BORIMAND CEMENT CONCREIE SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY, CURB AND GUTTER far the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1970, numbered 114 5-69-12 and filed with the City Clerk on May 6, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the it Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plana for
MINOR STREET PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CUTCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1970, numbered
PW 5-69-i3 and filed with the City Clerk on Nay 6, 1969;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 11 E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANALEMA, that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special. Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaibp be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same ie hereby authorized.
BE IT' 77 t'. RESOLVED that the Council of the City. of Alameda will receive sealed bids
up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m.. on FRIDAY, NAY 23, 1969, for the furnishing to the City. of all.
labor, materials and equipment necessary for said work, for the fiscal, year ending June 30, 1970, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions individually- prepared therefor. Bids met be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City- Nall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and piainly
marked on the outside with the designation. of the fiscal year work to which sa> d. bid applies.
Contrast, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the prevRaions of the Charter of said
Cityn to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid- The right, A3 reserved to reject
any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Pr0vi.31 Ons may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City >g"' 'r a.t his office: in the City Hall, Alamegia„ Ca.liforrria.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council, of the City of Alameda, in regular meeting assembled on the
