SECTION 2 THERETO, PROVIDING FOR. UNIFORM ALIIIIANCES TO cERTAIn
PERSONNEL OF POLICE AND Flign DEPARIMENTS
BE RESOINED BY THE COUNCIL OF 1EE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Salary and Position Resolution
No. 7503, adopted julg 1969, be and hereby is amended. by addlng Section 2 thereto, phibh shall
read as follows:
Section. 2,
(A) Police Department. Ali 07 "1 members of the Police Department,
except the Chief of Police, shall receive a sum of money in the amount of'
E150.00 annually as uniform allowance. Non-sworn personnel_ employed in time
Polibe Department who are required to wear a dighinctlye uniform shall receive
a sum of money in the amount of $40.0C annually as allowance therefor.
(S) Fire Department. All uniformed members of the Fire Department,
excapt the Fire Chief, shall receive a sum of money in the amount of $160,00
annually. as uniform allowance. Said allowance to memberm, of the Fire Depart-
ment shall be in lieu, and take the place, of the uniform. damage replacement
810 '81 heretofore in effect in said Department, except ae to necessary non.-
uniform items damaged in the direct performance of dutgm
The allowances provided for by this Section shall_ be paid quarterly,
commencing July 1, 1969,
