Resolution 07562CITY OF AIAMEDM RESOLUTION O. 7562 ORDERING CANCELLATION OF PERSONAL PROPERIY TAXES ERRONEOUSLY LEVEED WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 209.5 Revenue and Taxation Code, and Section. 4 of Article XIII of the California Constitutien, vessels under 3'' '93' are exempt from taxationd and WHEREAS, it appears Todd Shipyards Corporation is the owner of two partially constructed sections of an experimental floating facility '3' 8. assessed. value of $596,550.00, which said sections are paha of an 3-section Rescue and Repair Vesseld and. WHEREAS, said owner has requested that personal property- taxes heretofore levied and assessed on said property be cancelled and the same be exempted. from said taxes, on the grounds said property is a vessel under construction within the 83- 19 of Section 209.5 of the Revenue and haxatipn Code of California and Section 4. of Article XIII of the California Constitution; NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT HEMMED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE OF .AS=A that the request of Todd Shipyards Corporation for exemption from personal property taxes on the value of two partially completed sections of the experimental floating facility hereinabove referred to and described '3- r BlGelt AB 392/5 with assessed value of 4596,550.00 for 1969 be and hereby is granted.; and LE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 9, Title III of the Alameda unicipal.
