APPROVING FINAL MAP OF CONDOMINIUM SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS
TRACT 3189, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS THEREIN, AND APPROVING
FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (BALLENA BAY,
PAN-PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT COMPANY)
WHEREAS, there has been heretofore filed with and approved by this Council a Tentative Map of
that certain proposed condominium subdivision known as Tract 3189, being a subdivision of Lot A of
Property Division (Parcel) Map No. 572, which parcel map is a division of Lots 2 and 3, of Block 2,
Tract 3011, the Final Map of which Tract was approved by this Council on September 3, 1968; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 1, Chapter 3, Title XI of the Alameda Municipal Code, Pan-Pacific
Development Company, a California corporation, Subdivider herein, has presented to this Council a Final
Map of the said condominium subdivision known as Tract 3189; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into an agreement with the City to construct and complete
the public improvements in said subdivision and to post with the City Clerk a bond in the amount of
$33,000.00 to guarantee full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said Article;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Final Map of
Tract 3189 be and hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreement for construction and completion of the public improve-
ments in said subdivision, and all its terms and conditions, be and hereby is approved, and the City
Manager and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute and attest to, respectively, said agree-
ment on behalf of the City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $33,000.00, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of the subdivider's said public improvements construction contract, is hereby approved as
sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
7th day of July, 1970, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker and McCall, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSTAINING: President La Croix, Jr., (1).
ABSENT: None.
