Resolution 07731148 CITY CF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7731 AMENDING SECTION 2b OF RESOLUTION NO. 6232, CONFORMING LISTED POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT HOLIDAYS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Section 2b of Resolution No. 6232, entitled "Holiday Pay for Police and Fire Departments" is hereby amended to read: "b. Holiday Pay for Police and Fire Departments. All employees of the Police and Fire Department, excepting the Police Chief, Fire Chief, clerks, stenographers, or other civilian employees, shall be paid additional compensation for holidays at the straight time daily rate of 1/21.67 of their regular monthly salaries. This provision applies to the holidays set forth in subsection q of this Section 2. "In the event any of the aforementioned holidays shall fall within the vacation period of said employees, the Department Head shall determine whether the employees affected shall be paid additional compensation for such holiday or holidays, at the rate in this paragraph provided, or be allowed additional vacation time to compensate for the loss of such holiday or holidays."
