ORDERING VACATION OF UNUSED WALKWAY AND PUBLIC SERVICE
EASEMENTS (WITHIN TRACT 3069)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the certain 12 -foot walkway and
public utility easements heretofore dedicated for public purposes lying within Tract 3069, being
situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described
as:
Reference is hereby made to that certain map entitled, "TRACT 3069, ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA,"
filed July 11, 1969 in Book 62 of Maps, at pages 90 and 91, County of Alameda Records,
California.
PARCEL 1
All of the strip of land designated as a 12 -foot Public Walkway Easement commonly known as
Shore Walk, and designated also as a 12 -foot Electrical Easement in the map of Tract 3069
hereinabove referred to.
PARCEL 2
All of the strip of land designated as a 4' x 4' Electrical Easement on said map of Tract 3069
and lying contiguous to and northwesterly of the northwesterly line of that certain 12 -foot
Publi& Walkway Easement known as Shore Walk, the centerline of said Electrical Easement bears
N. 43 48'53 "W. radially from the center of the circular arc of said northwesterly line.
PARCEL 3
All of the strip of land designated as a 4' x 4' Electrical Easement on said map of Tract 3069
and lying contiguous to and northwesterly of the northwesterly line of that certain 12 -foot
Publi8 Walkway Easement known as Shore Walk, the centerline of said Electrical Easement bears
N. 18 57'55" W. radially from the center of the circular arc of said northwesterly line.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM, those portions lying within the following described parcel of land:
COMMENCING at the City Survey Monument having coordinates Y = 464,763.25 feet and X = 1,488,829.06
feet, based on the California Coordinate System Zone III, as are all bearings and distances
in this description, said monument being near the southeasterly terminus of Shorepoint
Court, as said Court is shown upon the map of Tract 3069 hereinabove referred to;
THENCE N. 64 °26'56" E. 50.35 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description said point
being on the northeasterly line of said Shorepoint Court;
THENCE northwesterly along said northeasterly line on a curve concave southwesterly having a
radius of 60 feet (a radial 18ne of said curve through last said point bears N. 67 10'32" E.)
through a central angle of 11 29'14" A distance of 12.03 feet to a point through which a
radial line of said curve bears N. 55'41'18" E.;
THENCE northeasterly along a curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 756 feet (a radial
line said said curve through last said point bears N. 30 48'22" W.) through a central angle
of 23 28'02" a distance of 309.65 feet to 8 point of reverse curvature through which a
radial line of last said curve bears N. 07 20'20" W.;
THENCE northeasterly on a reverse curve concave northwesterly having a radius of 94 feet through
a central angle of 56 28'38" a distance of 92.66 feet;
THENCE tangent to said curve N. 26 °11'02" E. 20.35 feet to the northeasterly line of Lot 4 of
said Tract 3069;
THENCE along said northeasterly line S. 39 °35'18" E. 13.16 feet;
THENCE S. 26 °11'02" W. 14.95 feet;
THENCE southwesterly along a tangeni curve concave northwesterly having a radius of 106 feet
through a central angle of 56 28'38" a distance of 104.49 feet to a pint of reverse
curvature through which a radial line of last said curve bears S. 07 20'20" E.;
THENCE southwesterly along a revers curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 744 feet
through a central angle of 07 51'48" a distaBce of 102.11 feet to a point through which
a radial line of last said curve bears N. 15 12'08" W.;
THENCE S. 15 °21'22" E. 4.00 feet;
THENCE S. 74 °38'38" W. 4.00 feet;
THENCE N. 15 °21'22" W. 4.00 feet to e point on the continuation of the last said curve;
THENCE southwesterly along said continuation of curs having a radius of 744 feet (a radial line of
said curve through last said point bears N. 15 30'36" W.) through a central angle of
09 51'10" a distance of 127.94 feet to a point through which a radial line of last said
curve bears N. 25 °21'46" W.;

THENCE S. 64 °29'00" W. 4.00 feet;
THENCE N. 25 °31'00" W. 4.00 feet to a point on the continuation of the last said curve;
THENCE southwesterly along said continuation of curve having a radius of 744 feet (a radial
line 8f said curve through last said point bears N. 25 °40'14" W.)through a central angle
of 05 10'18" a distance of 67.16 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 50443 of the Government Code of Cali-
fornia.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda hereby finds and determines that
(1) the said easements herein ordered vacated are unnecessary for present or prospective public use,
and (2) said easements have not been used for the purpose for which they were acquired for more than
five (5) consecutive years preceding the vacation herein ordered.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of April, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
