CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7765
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
NO 694 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO
SUFFICIENCY (DIVISION OF PROPERTY AT THE SOUTH END OF
HAWTHORNE STREET, ALAMEDA, CALIFORNIA--LINDSEY, GALLAGHER
& WILLETT)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11.319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been presented
to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 694, and heretofore conditionally accepted and
approved by the Planning Board under designation of Tract No. 3286, being a division of the property
located at the south end of Hawthorne Street, in the City of Alameda, by Lindsey, Gallagher & Willett,
a partnership comprised of Donald W. Lindsey, Jack F. Gallagher and Wilbur L. Willett; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by subdividers
of an agreement to construct and complete certain Public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdividers have entered into such an agreement and have posted their bond
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of property located at the south end
of Hawthorne Street, designated as Parcel Map No. 694, by Lindsey, Gallagher & Willett, be, and the same
hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to
attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of 65,100.00, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of April, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
