Resolution 078222 CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7822 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PAYMENT TO BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY OF BALANCE FOR COSTS OF STREET LIGHTING REPLACEMENT WHEREAS, a program of replacement of street lighting throughout the City was instituted in 1961, with costs thereof initially funded by the Public Utilities Board, acting through its Bureau of Electricity, and subsequent repayment to said Bureau at a fixed monthly sum per fixture; and WHEREAS, there remains outstanding the sum of $54,600.98 therefor, and it is in the best public interest that said balance now be paid in full, there being funds available for such purpose, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the payment by the City to the Bureau of Electricity of the sum of $54,600.98 be and hereby is authorized forthwith and the City Auditor is directed to cause same to be made. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17t4 day of August, 1971, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Lonyaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
