CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7827
REJECTING CLAIM OF MARIE BOURDIEU AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for damages against
the City in the amount of $50,073.00 heretofore on August 23, 1971, filed by Marie Bourdieu, whose
address is 1115 Central Avenue, Alameda, California, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said
claim is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and that a
certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant's attorneys, Messrs. Whitney and Hanson,
Attorneys at Law, Bank of America Building, Alameda, California 94501:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the City of
Alameda on August 23, 1971, was rejected on September 7, 1971.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date this
notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail to file a court
action on this claim. See Government Code Section 945.6.
You may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection with
this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should do so
immediately."

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
7th day of September, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
