CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7871
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
NO. 761 AND APPROVING CASH DEPOSIT AS TO SUFFICIENCY IN
LIEU OF SURETY PERFORMANCE BOND (DIVISION OF PARCEL 1 OF
PARCEL MAP NO. 567, - SOUTH SHORE CENTER, INC.)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been presented
to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 761, and heretofore conditionally approved by
the Planning Board, being a division of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 567 (Parcel A being on the northeast
corner of Willow Street and Shore Line Drive and Parcel 13 extending generally to Otis Drive and Park
Street), is the City of Alameda, by South Shore Center, Inc., e Nevada corporation; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by subdivider
of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such agreement and has posted and deposited in lieu
of a surety performance bond a cash bond in the sum of $1,200.00 guaranteeing full and faithful performance
of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of Parcel 1 of Parcel Map No. 567,
designated as Parcel Map No. 761, by South Shore Center, Inc., be, and the same hereby is, approved, and
the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on
behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said cash bond, in lieu of a performance bond, is hereby approved
as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled an the
21st day of December, 1971, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
