CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 7983
AMENDING CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL PLAN BY ADOPTING
INTERIM OPEN-SPACE PLAN
WHEREAS, by its Ordinance No. 1586 N.S., enacted April 8, 1969, the City adopted a Compre-
hensive General Plan pursuant to and in accordance with the general law; and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary and desirable, by virtue of said law, specifically Section
65563, Government Code of California, to amend said Plan by adopting and submitting to the Secretary
of the state Resources Agency an Interim Open-Space Plan; and
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting held August 28, 1972, the Planning Board duly adopted such
an Interim Plan, finding it to be in conformance with general law, and thereupon submitting it to this
Council for required public hearing and consideration; and
WHEREAS, after notice duly given, a public hearing was held on September 19, 1972, to
consider said amendment and Interim Plan and the Council than being fully advised in the premises,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Comprehensive
General Plan be and hereby is amended by adopting the "City of Alameda--Interim Open-Space Plan" herein-
above referred to and submitted for approval by the Planning Board, said document to be in form and
substance of that heretofore placed on file in the office of the City Clerk, a certified copy of which
shall be submitted to said Secretary of the Resources Agency as required by said Section 65563.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of SepLember, 1972, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman Levy, (1).
