REJECTING CLAIM OF PENNY MANDEL AGAINST CITY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the claim for personal
injuries against the City heretofore on January 8, 1973, filed by Penny Mandel, whose address
is 2044 High Street, Oakland, California, be rejected in its entirety on the grounds said claim
is not a proper charge against the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of said rejection be in the following words and
that a certified copy of this resolution be mailed to said claimant's attorney, Fred T. Jenner,
Esq., Attorney at Law, 77 Jack London Square, Oakland, California 94607:
"NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the claim which you presented to the
City of Alameda on January 8, 1973, was rejected on February 6, 1973.
WARNING
Subject to certain exceptions, you have only six months from the date
this notice was personally delivered or deposited in the mail to file
a court action on this claim. See Government Code Section 945.6.
Yoe may seek the advice of an attorney of your choice in connection
with this matter. If you desire to consult an attorney, you should
do so immediately."

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of February, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
