AUTHORIZING. EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
NO, 980 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE END AS TO
SUFFICIENCY (A DIVISION INTO CONDOMINIUMS OF PROPERTY AT
THE NORTHWEST CORNER Of ALAMEDA AVENUE AND UNION STREET-
STONE & STEWART COMPANY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 580, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Beard, being a division into four condominium units with a common area of
portions of Lots 9 and 10 of the Bartlett Tract (Northwest corner of Alameda Avenue and Union Street),
in the City of Alameda, by Stone & Stewart Company, a California corporation; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by sub-
divider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted its bond
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for the construction and completion of the improvements in the division into condominiums of the
property at the northwest corner of Alameda Avenue and Union Street by Stone & Stewart Company he, and
the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $6,500.00 guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract is hereby approved as sufficient in amount,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of March, 1973, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Fore, Levy, Longaker, McCall and President La Croix, Jr., (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
