CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8215
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR LINCOLN BARK, PHASE 2, BASEBALL INFIELD CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, there have been prepared Specifications, Special Provision and Plans for Lincoln
Park, Phase 2, Baseball Infield, No. PW 6-74-7, and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
June 18, 1974;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Specifi-
cations, Special Provisions and Plans, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be and the same is hereby authorized.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a,m. on FRIDAY, JULY 12, 1974, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinahove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must he presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Lincoln Park, Phase 2, Baseball Infield," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on
the 18th day of June, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Hurwitz, McCall and Vice President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President La Croix, Jr., (1.).
