CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8239
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP NC. 1458 AND APPROVING
FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (A DIVISION INTO
CONDOMINIUMS OF PROPERTY AT 1233 BROADWAY - B. LEONARD ANGUS, ANN ANGUS,
AND GEORGE A. SMITH AGENCY, INC.)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Ccde, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No. 1458, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of the existing property and building at 1233
Broadway into four condominium units with a common area, in the City of Alameda, by G. Leonard Angus,
Ann Anus, and George A. Smith Agency, Inc., a California Corporation; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning. Board is conditioned upon the execution by
subdividers uf an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property;
and
WHEREAS, said subdividers have entered into such an agreement and have posted their
bond guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section;
and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for the construction and completion of the improvements in the division into condominiums of the
existing property and building at 1233 Broadway by B. Leonard Angus, Ann Angus, George A. Smith
Agency, Inc., be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed
to execute, and the City Clerk to attest., said agreement an behalf of the City; and
BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $3,200.00 guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day of July, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Hurwitz and Vice President Corica, (3),
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Councilman McCall and President Le Croix, Jr., (2).
