CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8290
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PARCEL MAP
1445 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY
(DIVISION OF PARCEL "8' OF PARCEL MAP 761 - SOUTH SHORE
CENTER, INC.)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been
presented to this Council a Parcel Map, designated Parcel Map No, 1445, and heretofore conditionally
approved by the Planning Board, being a division of Parcel "B" of Parcel Map 761 (vacant property
on the south side of Otis Drive), in the City of Alameda, by South Shore Center, Inc., a Nevada
corporation; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by
subdivider of agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said Property;
and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted its bond
guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement
for the construction and completion of the improvements in the division ef Parcel "B" of Parcel
Map 761, designated as Parcel Map Nc. 1445, by South Shore Center, Inc., be, and the same hereby
is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to
attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $14,700.00, guaranteeing full and
faithful performance of said agreement, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of December, 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
