AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
FOR FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT FUNDS--CITY BIKEWAY
SYSTEM ($11,414.00 MATCHING FUND
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City, acting by and through
its Director of Parks and Recreation, make formal application to the Metropolitan Transportation
Commission for funds in the amount of $11,414,00 to be provided from the federal Transportation
Development Act Fund for the purpose of providing an alternative transportation system within
the City, to consist of off-road bicycle paths and ways along and over certain public property, all
as more particularly described in that certain document on file in said Director's office, and
entitled, 'City of Alameda, Application to MTC for TDA funds, 3-14-75," to which document reference
is hereby made.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby authorized to he paid by the City a like
sum of $11,414.00, as matching funds to said TDA allatation, for the purpose cf financing said
project.

3rd day of June, 1975, by the following vote, to wit:
