RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA IN RECOGNITION
AND COMMENDATION OF GUS H. PRATT
WHEREAS, Mr. GUS H, PRATT has shown his love for the ,youth of the City of Alameda by his
tireless and enthusiastic efforts in their behalf; and
WHEREAS, he has fcr the past fifteen years given wholeheartedly of his time and efforts
in constructing and providing toys for the young children of the community; and
WHEREAS, he has never sought recompense or recognition cf his endeavors in any way, being
satisfied that his reward was simply wo see a smiling little face enjoy a plaything which he had
made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City cf Alameda does hereby
publicly commend Mr. GUS H. PRATT for his unselfish contribution cf time and effort for the benefit
of the children of Alameda and points to him as an outstanding citizen of the community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Pratt
as en expression of the City's best wishes for his continued good health and happiness.
