CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8528
CONCERNING ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND NAMING THE SOUTH
COURSE OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered suggestions for the renaming of the South
Course of the Alameda Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, Jack Clark is recognized for his involvement and promotion of recreational
activities, and more particularly, for his contribution to the great game of golf,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that to appropriately
honor his devotion to community leisure activities, and particularly golf, the South Course of the
Alameda Municipal Golf Course is hereby named The Jack Clark (South) Golf Course,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th day of May, 1976, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diement, Hurwitz and President Corica, (3),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Beckam, (1).
ABSTAIN: Councilman Sherratt, (1).
