APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the provisions
of Article X of the Charter of the City of A7umeda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, JACK C.
BALAZ is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Civil Service Board of the City of
Alameda for the term commencing July 1, 1976 and expiring on June 30, 1981' and to serve until
his successor is appointed and is qualified.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted hy the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
28th day of July, 1976` by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
