CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8699
APPROVING CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES FOR: DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY MANAGER; ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT; PLANNING DEPARTMENT; SOCIAL
SERVICE HUMAN RELATIONS BOARD AND LIBRARY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, i87300 of the Government Code, commonly known as Political Reform Act of 1974,
requires that a Conflict of Interest Code shall be formulated for agencies at the most decentralized
level possible; and
WHEREAS, for purposes of application of this act, Department of the City Manager, Engineering
Department, Planning Department, Social Service Human Relations Board and Library Beoartment are such
agencies; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is the designated Code reviewing body, responsible for approving
a Conflict of Interest Code for such local agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, CE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Alameda, after reviewing sai
Codes (Attachment A) Codes being the same for departments and boards with the exception of Exhibits
A and B so attached and designated), hereby approves the proposed Codes as submitted.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of March, 1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Hurwitz, and President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman 5 erratt, (1).
