Resolution 08688CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 8588 RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO THE DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF OAKLAND AND CONSENTING THE ANNEXATION THEREOF TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA (CITY LINE ROAD) WHEREAS, certain territory hereinafter described is now situated in the City of Oakland, and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Alameda and needed to construct a road within the City without disrupting the City's Golf Course. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council hereby consents to the detachment from the City of Oakland of the territory specifically described in 'Exhibit A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, and hereby consents to the annexation of said territory to the City of Alameda, pursuant to articles 1 and 5 of Title 4, Division 2, Part 2, Chapter 1 of the Government Code of the State of California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is authorized and directed to submit to the Alameda County Local Agency Formation Commission a proposal for the annexation of said property to the City of Alameda. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled or the 5th day of April , 1977, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilman Beckam, Vincent, Hurwitz, Sherratt and President Corica, (5).
