APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE
CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
pursuant to the provisions of Article X of the Charter of
the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor,
FREDERICK B. VOLKING is hereby appointed to the office of member
of the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda for the term
commencing July 1, 1977 and expiring on June 30, 1981, and to
serve until his successor is appointed and is qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoin
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council o
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of July,
following vote, to wit.
AYES: Councilmen Diement, Sherratt, Till n and
President Corica, (4)
