Resolution 08798RESOLUTION NO. 8798 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA Appointing The Person Nominated as ) ) Trustee of Bay Farm Island ) ) Reclamation District No. 2105. ) ) WHEREAS, pursuant to law the Secretary of the Board of Trustee of Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No 2105, at least seven days prior to the final date for re ceiving petitions, duly published notice that nominating petitions for the office of trustee would be received not later than 5 p.m. on September 16, 1977; WHEREAS, only one petition for office of rustee was filed by said time and date; WHEREAS, the number of trustees to be elected at said election is one and the number of nominees does not exceed the number of trustees to be elected; and WHEREAS, no petition signed by five (or any other) percent of the voters requesting that the election be held has been presented to the Board of Trustees of said District NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda, as follows: Section 1. Pursuant to Section 50740 of the Water Code of the State of California, an election shall not be held in Bay Farm Island Reclamation District No. 2105 on 5000-387 November 8, 1975, for the purpose of electing trustees of said District. Section 2. Pursuant to Section 50741 of the Water Code, the person duly nom_Lnated for the position of tee, namely August T. Wiemken, is hereby appointed to the office of trustee of Bay Farm Island Reclamation. District No 2105 for a term of, four years commencing November 8, 1977.
