AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION
COMMISSION FOR FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT
FUNDS - CITY BIKEWAY SYSTEM ($15,542.00 MATCHING FUNDS)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the City, acting by and through its Director of Public Works,
make formal application to the Metropolitan Transportation Com-
mission for funds in the amount of $15,542.00 to be provided
from the federal Transportation Development Act Fund for the
purpose of providing an alternative transportation system
within the City, to consist of off-road bicycle paths and ways
along and over certain public property, all as more particularly
specified in that certain document on file in said Director's
office, and entitled, "City of Alameda, Application to MTC for
TDA Funds, 5 31 77 and 6 16 77," to which document reference
is hereby made.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby authorized
to be paid by the City like sum of $15.542'00' as matching
funds to said TDA aI/ncatipo, for the purpose of financing
said project.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of October, 1977, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Jherratt, Tillman and Vice President Divmcnt, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
