WAIVING PARCEL MAP REQUIREMENTS OF THE SUBDIVISION
MAP ACT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON BAY FARM ISLAND
DESIGNATED AS LOT 3 ON TRACT MAP 3773
WHEREAS, Section 11-314.5 of the Alameda Municipal Code
requires that division of contiguous property be accompanied
by filing of a parcel map unless certain conditions are met;
and
WHEREAS, Section 11-316.5 of the Alameda Municipal Code
allows for the waiver of the requirements of Section 11-314.5
by the City Council on findings as set forth in Section
11-316.5; and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Unified School District requires
title to properties (Amelia Earhart School) designated on Tract
Map 3773 as Lot 3 prior to the time a final map can be filed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the property shown as Lot 3 on Tract 3773
of the City Alameda complies with the requirements for a
temporary waiver of parcel map as set forth in Section 11-316.5
of the Alameda Municipal Code and the applicant be granted a
waiver from the provisions of the Alameda Municipal Code as
set forth above until such time as a final map for Tract 3773
is approved.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembl on the 15th day of November,
1977, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Tillman and President Corica, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Sherratt, (1).
