Resolution 08876CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8876 ACCEPTING PROPOSAL OF HOLABIRD & ANDREWS FOR APPRAISAL OF ALAMEDA BELT LINE PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City of Alameda under the Housing and Community Development Act (HCDA) allocated certain sums for the Atlantic Avenue Bike Path Project; and WHEREAS, on November 1, 1977, the City Council authorized City Staff to obtain an appraisal on certain property owned by the Alameda Belt Line, commonly known as the abandoned Alameda Belt Line and being a strip of land located adjacent southerly to Atlantic Avenue between Main and Webster Streets; and. WHEREAS, Holabird & Andrews, Real Estate Appraisers, have submitted a proposal for the appraisal of said property; and WHEREAS, said proposal has been reviewed and is acceptable to this Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the proposal of Holabird & Andrews, dated November 9, 1977, and on file in the office of the City Clerk, for the appraisal of the Alameda Belt Line property located adjacent southerly to Atlantic Avenue between Main and Webster Streets, is hereby accepted; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fee for said appraisal shall not exceed $2,5°0 and is to be paid from HCDA funds, City Project No 64, Atlantic Avenue Bike Path Project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said appraisal is to be com- pleted within sixty days from City's acceptance of the proposal. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of March, 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Tillman, Diament, and President Corica, (3). NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilmen Sherratt and Beckam, (2). IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 22nd day of March, 1978.
