CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 8890
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR TRANSIT
STUDY OF BAY FARM ISLAND WITH DeLEUW, CATHER &
COMPANY
WHEREAS, a development commonly known as HARBOR BAY ISLE,
is being constructed on Bay Farm Island in the City of Alameda;
and
%WHEREAS, said development will have a significant effect
on vehicular traffic on Bay Farm Island; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Board, through its Resolution 950
as a condition of approval of the Harbor Bay Isle Planned
Development required that the developers pay to City all costs
and expenses incurred in preparing a transit study and
Developer has agreed; and
WHEREAS DeLEUW, CATHER & COMPANY represents itself as
specially trained, experienced, and competent to render and
perform the services contemplated in this traffic study;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor and City Clerk be and each
hereby is authorized and directed to execute and to attest
to respectively, an agreement, on behalf of the City, with
DeLEUW, CATHER & COMPANY, by which the latter will perform
personal services consisting of the preparation in written
form of the traffic study hereinabove referred to Said
Agreement shall provide for a maximum fee to the Engineer
of $11,000 reimbursable by the developer of said development
and shall contain the specific undertakings, among others,
contained in the Engineer's written proposal heretofore sub-
mitted to the City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April,
1978, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: 'Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, and Tillman, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Corica, (1).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 19th day of April, 1978.
