AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
1429 PARK STREET, A PARTNERSHIP, AND CITY OF ALAMEDA,
OF ONE THOUSAND SQUARE FEET OF SPACE IN THE BUILDING
LOCATED AT 1429 PARK STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda requires additional space
in the City of Alameda for temporary use as clerical and staff
offices for an Historical Survey of the City; and
WHEREAS, such additional office space is available in the
basement level of a building located at 1429 Park Street and
owned by 1429 Park Street, a partnership, at a monthly rental of
$200.00, provided, however, there shall be no rent earned or
payable if all other terms of the proposed lease are complied
with; and
WHEREAS, a form of General Form Lease containing the terms
and conditions to be agreed upon between the City of Alameda and
1429 Park Street, and more particularly describing the space to
be leased, has been prepared and submitted to this Council and the
Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and conditions
thereof;
c: V NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of said City be and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest,
on behalf of the City, a General Form Lease substantially in the
form and containing the terms and conditions set forth in the
cs aforesaid form of Lease.
I. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of May,
1.978? 'by the following vote to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (4).
NOES; None,
ABSENT; Councilman Beckam,
