Resolution 08978CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. DECLARING INTENTION TO PROHIBIT, BY ORDINANCE, THE USE OF PARK STREET FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH AND THE USE OF TILDEN WAY FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH BY ANY VEHICLE EXCEEDING MAXIMUM GROSS WEIGHT OF THREE TONS; SETTING DATE OF HEARING THEREON BY CITY COUNCIL, AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SAID HEARING, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 5, DIVISION 15, VEHICLE CODE OF CALIFORNIA 8978 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that it intends to enact an ordinance prohibiting the use by any and all vehicles whose maximum gross weight exceeds three tons on the following public streets in the City of Alameda:" (1) Park Street, for its entire length; (2) Tilden Way, for its entire length. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1978, at the hour of 7.30 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chamber located in the City Hall, is hereby set as the time and place this Council bill hold a public hearing on its said intention and will make a determination on whether to Limit the weight of vehicles using such streets, and at which all interested persons may submit objections to the ,proposed action BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause notice of such hearing to be given and published in the mangier and "at the time provided for in Section 35705 of the Vehicle Code of California, being a part of Article 4, Chapter 5, Division 15 of said Code. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of September, 1978, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman, and President Corica, (5).
