ORDERING VACATION OF UNUSED POWER EASEMENTS
WITHIN TRACT 3841
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
those certain Power Easements within subdivision Tract 3841,
accepted by the City on February 6, 1979, and recorded in the
County Recorder's Office on February 27, 1979, in Book 108 of
Maps at pages 68 thru 76, inclusive, and described as:
Parcel 1
A parcel of land designated, "10' X 10 "' P.E., the center-
line of which being the northerly 10.00 feet of the common
line of Lots 16 and 17 in Block 1 of Tract 3841 herein -
above referred to said parcel abuts the southerly line of
Sheffield Road as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 2
A parcel of land designated, "10' X 10'" P.E., said parcel
being at the northerly portion of Lot 12 in Block 2 of
Tract 3841 herein above referred to, said parcel abuts
the northeasterly 10.00 feet of the common line Lots 11 and
12 of said Block 2 and the southwesterly line of Ennis-
more Court as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 3
A parcel of land designated, "6' X 6'" P.E., the center-
line of which being the easterly 6.00 feet of the common
line of Lots 31 and 32 in Block 2 of Tract, 3841 herein -
above referred to said parcel abuts the southwesterly
line of Brighton Court as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 4
A parcel of land designated, "6' X 6'" P.E., in the south-
easterly portion of Lot 16 in Block 6 of Tract 3841 here -
inabove referred to said parcel abuts the easterly 6.00
feet of the common line of Lots 16 and 17 of said Block 6
and the westerly line of Weymouth Court as shown on said
map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 5
A parcel of land designated, "6' X 6'" P.E., the center -
line of which being the easterly 6.00 feet of the common
line of Lots 7 and 8 in Block 8 of Tract 3841 hereinabove
referred to, said parcel abuts the westerly line of
Inverness Way as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 6
A parcel of land designated, "10' X 10 "' P.E., the center-
line of which being the easterly 10.00 feet of the common
line of Lots 35 and 36 in Block 7 of Tract 3841 herein-
above referred to, said parcel abuts the westerly line of
Brighton Road as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 7
A parcel of land designated, "6 X 6'" P.E., in the north-
westerly portion of Lot 5 in Block 10 of Tract 3841
hereinabove referred to the northerly line of said parcel
being parallel with and distant 2.00 feet from the common
line of Lots 4 and 5 in said Block 10, the westerly line
of said parcel being contiguous with the easterly line
of Avington Road as shown on said map of Tract 3841.
Parcel 8
A parcel of land designated, "6' X 6'" P.E., the center-
line of which being the easterly 6.00 feet of the common
line of Lot 18 and 19 in Block 10 of Tract 3841 herein-
above referred to said parcel abuts the westerly line
of Hampton Court as shown on said map of Tract 3841.,
are hereby ordered vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section
50443, Government Code of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda hereby finds and declares that (1) the said easements
ordered vacated herein are unnecessary for present or prospective
public use, and (2) that said easements have never been used by
the City of Alameda for any purpose whatever since February 6,
1979, the date of their acceptance by the City, to the date of
this resolution,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of June , 1979, by
the following Vote, to wit. .
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
