DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO PUBLIC USE FOR
STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES {CITY LINE ROAD FROM
DOOLITTLE DIRVE"TO ITLAND DRIVE)
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that certain real
property owned by the City of Alameda be dedicated to public use
for public street and highway purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL QF T'HE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that the certain real property set out below, owned
by the City of Alameda, is hereby `dedicated to public use
Public street and highway, said real property being situate in
the City of Alameda, County of Alameda,: State of Calif
known as City Line Road, and is more particularly described as
follows:

s 9, 24, and 25 of Section 20
and Lots 1, 15, 16, and 18 of Sect
2 South, Range 3 West, Mount Diabl
as said lots, sections, township, and ;range ' are
delineated and so designated on that certain map
Map No; 2 of Salt March and 'Fide Lands, Situate
the County of Alameda, State of California, 1871;
and delineated in the field notes thereof," all
in the office of the Department of Finance, Division
State Lands, State of California, and being more
particularly described as follows
COMMENCING at the point designated as Manument Na; 2 on
that certain map entitled, "Coordinate Map of the
Tidelands and Control Points in the Vicinity of
Bay Farm Island, Alameda County, " which was filed
on April 19, 1956, in Map Book 40, at Page 30,
Records of Alameda County. Said monument has the
coordinates y= 454,625.47 feet and x= .1,501,003.66
feet, based on the California Coordinate System,
Zone III, as are all bearings, distances, and
coordinates in this descr;iptiona said point also
being at the section corner common to Sections 19,
20, 29, and 30 of said T2S, R3W, MDB&M, said
Point also being on the western line of the are
annexed to the City of Alameda, as shown on that
certain map entitled, "Map Delineating Boundary
of TerritorY Annexed to the City of Alameda,
California, and Detached from the City of Oakland
under Annexation of Uninhabited T'erritory Aai
1939," filed on December 28, 1977, in Map Book 90,
at Page 29. Records of Alameda County, also being
a point on the western boundary of the parcel of
land described' in the Grant Deed from the City of
Oakland to the City of Alameda which was recorded
March 28, 1978 in Reel 5318 at Image" 205, Alameda
County Records;
and 32 of Section 1
of 8 of Section 29
on 30; Township
Base and Meridian,
THENCE along the eastern line of Lots 32, 17 and 16 of
said Section 19, North 0 °58'09 " East, 3368:014
feet to a point on the southern right -of. -way line
of Doolittle Drive, 160 feet wide, as said line
is described in Parcel Two of Port Ordinance
4472, adopted May 21, 1945, the original copy of
which Ordinance is kept and indexed in the Port
Ordinance Book, which as under the'custory and
control of the Secretary of the Board of Port
Commissioners of the City of Oakland; and which
point is the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE along said southern line, North 88 °04'59" East,
75.09 feet, more or less, to a line parallel with
and 75 feet easterly of the eastern line of
said Section 197
THENCE along said parallel line, South 0 °58'09" west,
3371.88 feet, more or less;
THENCE along a line parallel with and 75 feet easterly of
the eastern line of said Section 30, South 1 °05 "45 "
West, 529.49 feet;
THENCE southwesterly along the arc of a tangent curve
concave to the west h a radius of 1182.507
feet, through a central angle of 20 °30'57 ", an
arc distance of 423.42 feet, more or less, to a
point on said section line common to said Sections
29 and 30, from which point a radial bears North
68 °23'21" West, said point being the most southern
point of the area described in the aforesaid Grant
Deed to the City of Alameda (Reel 5318, Image 205)
which paint is also an angle point in the
boundary line of the City of Alameda, as established
by the aforesaid annexation (Map Book 90, page 29);
THENCE continuing along the arc of said curve through a
central angle of 2 °40'30 ", an arc distance of 55.21
feet
THENCE tangent to said curve, South 24 °17'09''West,
2023.137 feet to a. point on the general northern
line of that certain 231.219 acre parcel of land
described in the Deed from the City of Oakland
to Utah Construction Company, recorded June 27,
1957, in Book 8402, Page 61, Official Records of
Alameda County, and which point is distant on said
orthern line, North 66 °47'25" West, 421.773 feet
the most eastern corner of said parcel, said
ner having the coordinates y= 451,620.63 feet
and x=1,500,519.63 feet;
THENCE along said line, North 66 °47'25" West, 108.011
feet;
THENCE North 24 °17'09" East, 128.146 feet to a point on
the center line of Maitland Drive, 60 feet wide,
said point being distant thereon, South 32 °11'11"
East, 979.388 feet from the center line of Fitch-
burg Avenue, 60 feet wide,
THENCE continuing North 24 °17'09" East, 1994.484 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the
west;
THENCE northerly along said curve having a radius of
847 „005 :Feet through a central angle of 23 °11'24 ",
an arc distance of 342.82 feet,
THENCE tangent to said curve, along a line whd h is
parallel with and 13 feet westerly of t eastern
line of said Section 30, North 01005'45" West,
529.411 feet,
THENCE along a line which is parallel with and l3 feet
westerly of the eastern line of said Section 19,
North 0 °58'09” East, 3367.345 feet to a point on
the aforesaid southern line of Doolittle Drive,

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing

the Council of the City of Alameda in a regular meeting
