AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH PROVIDENCE
VETERINARY HOSPITAL FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT OF
INJURED OR SICK ANIMALS WHOSE OWNERS ARE UNKNOWN
(After' Normal Working Hours, Weekends and Holidays
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with Providence Veterinary
Hospital for its services relating to emergency treatment of
injured or sick animals whose owners are unknown and are taken
to the veterinary hospital by Animal Shelter personnel, a Police
Officer or a private citizen, during the times that said hospital
might be closed for normal business, including after normal working
hours, weekends and holidays,; and which' provides for certain
payment by the City therefor, has been submitted to this Council,
and the Council is fully informed and aware of the terms and
conditions thereof; and
