Resolution 09380CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9380 ACCEPTING PROPOSAL AS AGREEMENT (PHASE II--DELOITTE, HASKINS & SELLS OPERATIONS AND COST EFFECTIVENESS STUDY) WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9362 adopted on August 19, 1980, this Council accepted Phase I of the proposal of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, dated July 15, 1980, as updated by letter of August 5, 1980, to Ray Nobriga and signed by Michael D. Baer, for its professional services to the City in conducting a study of the operations and cost effectiveness of the City's Auditor- Assessor and Treasurer-Tax Collector Departments; and WHEREAS, Phase 11 of said proposal provided that the City review the documented problem areas and direct said firm to evaluate and prepare recommendations for those areas considered to be of critical importance; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda that said detailed evaluation be performed: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Phase II of said proposal of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells for its professional services to the City of Alameda in conducting a study of the operations and cost effectiveness of the City's Auditor-Assessor and Treasurer-Tax Collector Departments is hereby accepted; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said proposal and this acceptance shall constitute the contract of the parties hereto; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total cost of Phase II shall not exceed the sum of $10,000 and that payment for said services sha I be from the Contingency Fund. ) City Clerk I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of September, 1980, by the following vote, to wit:.
