APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP FOR TRACT 4797, A SUBDIVISION
OF APPROXIMATELY 5.77 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED SOUTHWEST
OF THE INTERSECTION OF OLEANDER AVENUE AND MELROSE
AVENUE ON BAY FARM ISLAND, FINDING SAID TENTATIVE MAP
CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN AND DETERMINING
THAT DISCHARGE OF WASTE INTO SEWER SYSTEM WILL NOT
VIOLATE REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL REGULATIONS
(EMILY SILVA, ET AL., OWNERS, AND VICTORIAN VILLAGE
ASSOC., OWNER AND SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Emily Silva, Gregory A. Silva, Suzann L. Silva,
Raymond F. Silva and Roleen A. Silva, owners herein, and Victorian
Village Assoc., owner and subdivider herein, have presented to the
Council for approval a Tentative MaP for Tract 4797, a subdivision
of approximately 5.77 acres of land located southwest of the
intersection of Oleander Avenue and Melrose Avenue on Bay Farm
Island and known as Victorian Village; and
WHEREAS, by City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution
No 1061, adopted on May 28, 1980, an environmental determination
(ED-80-2) was made that the Final EIR for the Rancho Bahia Project,
prepared by Earth Metrics, Inc., is adequate to cover the project
description for Victorian Village; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 7, 1981 held a public
hearing on said Tentative Map;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA that said Council recognizes the adequacy of the Final
FIR for the Rancho Bahia Project, prepared by Earth Metrics, Inc.,
to cover the project description for Victorian Village; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-3112 of
the Alameda Municipal Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 4797, here-
tofore accepted and approved by the Planning Board on March 23,
1981, and based upon the findings and subject to the conditions
contained in City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution No. 1136, is
hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section 11-3112(f)
of the Alameda Muni pal Code the City Council hereby finds the
Tentative map for Tract 4797 is consistent with the City's
General Plan, and Pursuant to Section 11-3112(h) determines that
discharge of waste from the subdivision into the sewer system
will not violate regional water quality control regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the
Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled
on the 7th of April, 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman and
President Corica - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
