Resolution 09775CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 9775 ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF A SMALL WEDGE OF PROPERTY AT THE LINCOLN SCHOOL SITE WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 9275 this Council accepted a conveyance from the Alameda Unified School District of certain real property consisting of approximately 0.309 of an acre of land, more or less, extending from the present end of Washington Street in the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, the Grant deed from the School District to the City contained an erroneous description in that it did not include the small wedge of land which was abandoned by the City in connec- tion with the construction of Fernside Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the Alameda Unified School District of Alameda County, a public corporation, has executed and delivered' to the City of Alameda that certain Grant Deed dated May 24, 1982, which conveys to the City the small wedge of land, containing 0.004 acres of land, more or less, and is more particularly described in said conveyance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforementioned conveyance be and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said conveyance and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of June, 1982, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmen Di8m2nt, Gorman, Sherratt, Stone and President Corica - 5. NOES: N0ne, ABSENT: None.
